Feel so fortunate to have stumbled onto this hidden gem while waiting for an extensive auto repair during a road trip. We ate here 3 times in 2 days! Seafood chowder- Amazing… the Calamari was a repeater, bistro medallion dinner was fabulous. Hope we can find our way back someday….

I will say Hay J's has exceeded our expectations. Our dinner was outstanding. Angela was our server was excellent and we could not have had a better experience. We are from out of town, but we will be sure to visit the next time we are in town. Thank you for a great evening and an excellent dinner! I highly recommend dining here. Nina, our server was fantastic. Salads were flavorful and chilled. Bolognese pasta was delicious. The chicken Marsala was also tasty. I feel like that quality of the meat has declined. I’ve had several NY strips there however the past two were not nearly as tender and had some gristle through them. I believe that the trim is the issue not the preparation. The bread and oil is also delicious.
The atmosphere is classy and romantic. I especially liked that they had a brighter light that shown down on the table so you could still read your menu while not ruining the ambience. The staff were attentive but not hovering. My delicious fruit infused water was never empty. Each individual course came out in a timely manner. The offerings were original, tasty, and beautiful to look at. We had the rib eye steak, perfectly cooked, and truffle frites. We split the main course, which was plenty of food. We even had to take some home.
Food and service was excellent. A little fancy for my preferences but it as nice. Tables weren't too close, place felt relaxed but intentional. Location is a bit odd, but once inside, it's another world. Parking can be a challenge but street parking is available.

Amazing food! Wife and I went yesterday and she had the King Salmon & I had Shellfish Pappardelle and we shared a halibut cakes appetizer. Every bite was exquisite. Pasta cooked perfectly & sauces were complex and robust yet perfectly balanced. Portion size was leftovers for lunch today. The staff and servers were capable, fun and friendly. We sat outside on the deck and I enjoyed the backdrop of the rolling hills on the north side. One of our new area favs for sure! Next time we're going for salads that all looked wonderful.
This was my first time having a fancy steak at a restaurant and my first steak over $30! I ordered the 14oz ribeye with a garden salad (which was an extra charge), I had a 6oz glass of Malbec, and my friend and I split the Crème Brûlée. They also brought bread and oil to the table which was delicious, everything was outstanding! The location is kind of odd, being next to a gas station, and the parking is tough when the other places around it are busy, I also made a reservation on a Monday just in case! It was definitely expensive,be ready to spend some money haha! but the food was outstanding and the portions were perfectly sized. I will definitely be going back! Thank you for such a great experience!
